Cardinal Stephen Soo-hwan Kim once said that the power to save human society lies in true love, truth, justice, and humility. These words deeply resonated with me and inspired me to compose a song with his message at its core. My hope is that this song, titled "Light of Life," will radiate the same brilliance as Cardinal Kim and bring positive change to the world. I would also like to express my gratitude to Suyeon Lim for beautifully capturing Cardinal Kim's noble ideals in her poem.
참으로 인간사회를 살리는 힘은 참 사랑이요, 진리이며, 정의요, 겸손이라고 말씀하신 그분의 뜻을 마음깊이 새기며 곡을 적어보았습니다. 이 노래를 통해 그분이 우리에게 남기신 미소처럼, 생명의 빛이 세상을 환하게 비추기를 기도합니다. 김수환 추기경님의 뜻을 아름다운 시에 담아주신 임수연 릿다 님께 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
