The message of love, joy and peace is one that all ages can relate to, but expressed in simple, childlike terms. It is two and a half minutes long, completely in unison, and the three verses can optionally be sung as solos or small group features. Another performance idea is to have one student light a candle, and then pass the flame from student to student. (Electric or battery candles, of course.) Recording is sung by first and second graders. It is an earlier version, where verse two is not included.
