Although many people believe that the song's reference to "Mother Mary" is a biblical one, it actually refers to a dream Paul McCartney had in which his mother (Mary) appeared to him and gave him advice. Sarah has performed with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Sammy Hagar, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Halsey, Kygo, and Sarah Brightman.

Sarah is also an acclaimed string arranger who has published hundreds of arrangements under her own label, Cellobat Charts.
