Legacy by Naoya Wada Concert Band - Sheet Music

By Naoya Wada

We are surrounded by traditions and cultures that, handed down through generations, also gradually evolve. Performances, crafts, and festivals are such examples. The techniques, methods, thoughts and feelings of our predecessors continue to the present day. While culturally important, this is typical of daily life. From parents to children, from teachers to students, and from seniors to juniors, we have our lives today by the repetition of things around us. To pass someone else's hard work on to the next generation may be the best way to repay our predecessors. Though the number of smaller bands is increasing worldwide, and instrumental balance is by no means ideal for many bands, I have scored this piece with the aim of providing a satisfying performance experience for such organizations. To perform with less than 10 players we recommend using our flexible version. (Naoya Wada)
