All these melodies are originally in Public Domain (i.e. no copyright infringements have been perpetrated).
Several of these pieces have two versions: a relatively easy one and a more difficult one, for those who want challenges. On intention, the easier versions have nearly no legato slurs.
The pieces are roughly in ascending order of difficulty.
These pieces are meant for beginners – but not for absolute beginners! Another album with even easier piano music is coming ... soon.
Some of these pieces are old, very old, and have been transmitted orally (not in writing) for centuries. Therefore, there might be differences to a version that you already know. Don't be afraid to make a change if you feel that it fits your musical preferences.
