Erik Satie (1866-1925) is a French composer who has been dubbed the eccentric of the music world. His work is said to have influenced Debussy and Ravel. This work is a cakewalk-style march, and it is a very wit and simple song. I arranged such Sati's song into a Clarinet octet. I think he should play in an encore.
