The composition includes the original melody and a development section of five stylistic variations. Intended for intermediate string orchestras with advancing skills (level 3.5), there is an optional first violin part that can be performed by more advanced players. To provide additional flexible scoring options, this arrangement also includes an optional violin part which doubles the viola part with appropriate register changes. The performance duration of this selection is about six minutes and 30 seconds at the suggested tempo markings.
