Composed by Paris Paloma. Arranged by Charlie Len. This edition: audio, pdf. 21st Century, Contemporary A Cappella, Pop, Show Choir, Singer/Songwriter. 16 pages. Charlie Len #1213846. Published by Charlie Len (A0.1646929).
This powerful feminist song, Labour by Paris Paloma, expresses true female rage and the frustration of having to do all the work for none of the credit. This arrangement is for three vocal parts, soprano 1, soprano 2 and alto, though all parts are quite low with the highest note being an F# in sop 1 and D in sop 2 and all parts going down to an F# below the stave in places. The arrangement is modern and includes stomping, clicking and 'dm's, all adding to a diverse soundscape designed to stand alone as an a cappella/unaccompanied piece. It includes chords throughout for the purpose of rehearsal or to add support in performance with a guitar or piano if desired. I hope you enjoy performing this amazing song!
Please note, this does feature a swear word so may not be suitable for younger choirs.
