A valuable manual.

Pepe writes; My desire is that you find in yourselves the necessary spiritual strength to undertake, with joy and devotion, the technical discipline to which all serious students of music must submit to cross that invisible line that rigidly separates the dilettante from the artist. This summarises the reason for this publication. This is both concise and thorough. A serious beginner can use it but will be better appreciated by a more advanced player. It seems to me the book is a tool designed to assist moderate players to lift their game to a more professional level.Contents include fundamental basic instruction, Guilianis 101 exercises and a series of 12 studies from relatively easy to difficult, personally written by Pepe. It also contains biographical information and much thoughtful comment about the processes of making and performing music.I am pleased I bought it. I believe committed players will find it most valuable.
