La forêt enchantée est une collection de douze solos de guitare intéressants, divertissants et éducatifs. Ce livre propose une grande variété de pièces contrastées. Après la pluie est une œuvre lente et impressionniste, avec des touches évoquant Milan Tesar à certains moments, tandis que Pour une Nymphe en Allée est une magnifique mélodie lyrique, empreinte de mélancolie. En contraste, on trouve des morceaux comme Picnic of the Pigs, au caractère lourd en basses et rythmique, ou encore l'hommage très agréable au groupe pop le plus influent de l'histoire musicale : Four Beetles in a Strawberry Field.
