Khorurd Metz is an Armenian sacred hymn, or sharakan, for the feast of the Nativity. Movses Khorenatsi, who wrote both the words and the melody, was one of the Armenia's greatest sharakan composers, and his melody persists throughout this modal, polyphonic arrangement by Vahram Sargsyan, passing from one voice to another.
