Composed by Julius Fucik. Arranged by Lin Y. E. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 18 pages. Lin Yizhi Ernest #3037053. Published by Lin Yizhi Ernest (A0.748739).

Entrance of the Gladiators is a military march composed by Czech composer Julius Fučík in 1897. The original title "Grande Marche Chromatique" reflects the use of chromatic scales throughout the piece, but he changed it due to his interest in the Roman Empire.

Fortunately or unfortunately, this piece of music is closely associated to circuses as it was popularly used in the early 1900s to introduce clowns. And this association lives till this day.

This energetic and lively piece is suitable for the wind quintet and will definitely get your audience to be either clapping or whistling along!
