The Brooklyn, New York-based singer and guitarist Joey Balin has attracted attention primarily through his enormously successful work as a producer; among other things, he is responsible for the multi-platinum albums of the Swiss all-round talent Stephan Eicher, as well as for numerous productions by such illustrious artists as David Knopfler, Brings, Doro and Warlock, to name but a few. In addition to activities of this kind, Joey has also made a considerable name for himself as a band musician, for example as a member of the cult rock formation Hot Tuna.
