マリンバと太鼓（またはバスドラム）が揺るぎないリズムを刻み、次第にマリンバがそのリズムから離れ、解放され、旋律を描きながら空中を舞うようなリズムに進んでいきます。最後には静けさが戻ります。
マリンバ奏者1名と打楽器奏者1名によって演奏されます。
