This is based on my "Japanese Song" for guitar solo (written for Seiji Kojima back in the 1970s, who later became Japanese ambassador to Pakistan). This quartet version is subtitled "for the heroes of Fukishima and all unsung heroes" referring to the heroic work of the people who cleaned up the radioactive mess left by the tsunami disaster in Fukushima, Japan.
