This fanfare-like Intrada, based on Christian Gregor's Hosanna imitates the Baroque style of the "Turmmusik" [tower music]. It can function as a short, energetic introduction to the choral piece. Very tuneful and accessible by the audience. It can also stand alone as a fanfare for various occasions. It can be played directly from the open score [parts not needed separately]. The Trombone part can be extended as a general bass part [euphonium, tuba].
