These fun and easy five-finger pieces may be learned and performed on either prepared or unprepared piano. The preparations of each movement create a different sound world: "Hopscotch" features pencil erasers and "Distant Bells" uses machine screws, while "Interruptions" offers a dialogue between the two unique timbres.

The piano preparations are straightforward and minimal (just 10 pencil erasers and 8 screws in all!), and simple and clear instructions are included.
