Forming an effective choral requiem of sorts, the seven movements of Nicholas White's IN SURE AND CERTAIN HOPE  were written for The Tiffany Consort in 2006. With texts from the Book of Common Prayer, the piece offers an alternative to the more traditional requiem settings, and may be performed by chorus, soloists, and organ (with optional cello) or with strings only.
