The title reflects the fact that this piece is written in the Dorian mode with two moments moving briefly into the Aeolian mode with the use of Bb in the bass figure (bars 10 and 22). There are two versions of In a Dreamy Mode, an Abridged version (single page) and a Full version (double page). The Abridged version could also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading practice. The accompanying mp3 file is a demo version only.
