Small Ensemble - Digital Download

SKU: A0.990146

Composed by Don Bowyer (Sunway University). Contemporary. Score and parts. 1 pages. Dolphin Don's Music School #6434137. Published by Dolphin Don's Music School (A0.990146).

For any instrument.

This composition is entirely improvised. The performer improvises a "commentary" on a series of ten images shown in a PowerPoint slideshow. Each slide will advance automatically after 20 seconds. The performer is expected to respond to each new image by changing the ongoing improvisation in either subtle or dramatic ways.

An accompanying PowerPoint template is available for free download from the composer's website.

The piece was created as part of my Rooftop Trombone v2.0 series during the second lockdown in Malaysia due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Improvisatory Poetry is a companion piece involving poetry submitted and read by the audience.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
