The final opera of Wagner's immense work of genius, the "Ring Cycle" is Götterdämmerung. The Immolation Scene occurs in the final part of Act 3, where Brünnhilde lights a pyre and the ensuing flames bring down the Hall of the Gods, consuming all within it as the curtain falls. Randy Malmstrom is never shy about attempting big arrangements and he has once again done a superb job. For 12-part Brass Ensemble and Timpani of advanced performers and about 4 minutes in length. Instrumentation is for 3 Trumpets in C, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones, Contrabass Trombone, Tuba and Timpani.
