Presley was an early 20th century musician and hymnist from Arkansas. This and his well known "When the Saints Go Marching In" are just a fewof the lively Gospel songs he composed. Tis work talks about the Christian believers' hope in a new body and an eternal home in Heaven. Sections A and C are the verse. Sections B and D are the refrain. A modulation to a new key occurs towards the end of section B with the aid of an Italian augmented sixth chord. A descant by yours truly is then added. The song should be played "Con grande gioia" (with great joy) but not rushed.
