This is an excerpt from the famous "Hymn and Triumphal March" in the second act of the opera "Aida". It is for brass septet with three trumpets, three trombones and tuba. It is also possible to omit the 3rd Trb. If you use a cornet for 2nd and 3rd trumpets, 1st trumpet and two cornet parts can be effectively differentiated. In this arrangement, there are many places where the motion of different parts (for example, antiphonal and violin, melody and accompaniment, etc.) is combined in one bar, so first of all, study the original score carefully to play your part. It is important to understand the role being played and the part that is the source of it. By doing so, you will be able to make performance expression more effective and compelling.
