I have been playing clarinet, soprano, alto & tenor saxes and flute for many years and currently run the Let's Dance Big Band and depp in other professional standard bands and I can wholeheartedly recommend this DVD - James is not only an exceptionally brilliant musician but he can also explain so well the basics of trumpet playing and most of which also apply to all wind instruments. I believe that all musos will learn some very useful tips from James and teachers would do well to review this DVD also.

This DVD flies on the fame of the name, but is possibly useful only for the very early player - just after the beginner. It is all talk about generic brass basics, with little utility for later players.
