String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download
By Sharon Wilson. By John Bacchus Dykes. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Easter,Holiday,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Traditional. Score and parts. 10 pages. Sharon Wilson #1920513. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.564767).
This arrangement for a string quartet (or 3 violins and cello) was written so all parts have plenty of movement making it interesting for all players. Upbeat and bright throughout, this arrangement makes an impressive offertory or postlude. The Violin 3 part is the same as the Viola part in case a Viola player is not available. Violin 1 carries the melody for the first verse and then Violin 2 and Viola (or Violin 3) alternate the melody for verse 2.
This is an excellent arrangement for a late beginner to intermediate string group since all notes on the violin and viola can be played in the first position and up to the second position for the cello. The purchase price includes the full 5 staff, 5 page score plus a 1 page score for each part. Duration 1:30.
