Artful Arrangement for Concert Band
While not a vocal score, Johnnie Vinson's "Sound of Music" arrangement for concert band is excellently crafted. The Grade 2 difficulty ensures accessibility, yet the voicing is rich. I appreciate how different sections, like the trombones and baritones in Do-Re-Mi, are featured, maintaining interest and demonstrating good instrumental voice-leading.
