Composed by Traditional English Carol. Arranged by Michael Bomier. 20th Century,Christmas,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 2 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #442883. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862589).

2015 Piano Contest This arrangement is the most multi-layered of the pieces in the set. It has the melody tucked away in the middle voice treble, and that tune is supported throughout by a 4th underneath, that travels right along. The bass is a hemiola ostinato figure. To "Top" things off the root or the 5th of the key is added to each treble sonority. It makes for Minimalism with a maximum of interesting features. Intervals of a 9th in some places for the right hand. Short duration. Pedal throughout. MP3 MIDI audio. A solidly Intermediate-level piece. MBB.
