This is a little tribute to my friend and colleague Francis Bebey. Francis was from Cameroon and much admired internationally as a story teller, musician and composer. The piece is based on the "makossa" rhythm from thecoastal regions of Cameroon which Bebey himself often played on guitar.

Voici un petit hommage à mon ami et collègue Francis Bebey. Originaire du Cameroun, Francis était un conteur, musicien et compositeur très admiré à l'international. La pièce s'inspire du rythme « makossa » des régions côtières du Cameroun, que Bebey lui-même jouait souvent à la guitare.
