However, two of my students knew that they were each playing the same tune, but that they were different versions, and insisted on performing them as a duet on the Spring piano recital. It was challenging to get two pianos (this will absolutely NOT work as a four-hand piece unfortunately as the hand crossings would be almost impossible to maneuver) but well worth the effort:) . The combination of the two sounds very powerful and impressive and the parents insisted on hearing it again.
