Gold Complete is the third level in the Finger Olympiad warm up and recognition series. Students in the Gold Complete level are comfortable with two hand playing and with the instrument in general. Continuing in the style of Bronze and Silver, note reading is not required. Focus on finger coordination, musicianship, and solid practice habits will be further enforced, and transposition to all keys is practiced. Major scales will also be learned.
The Finger Olympiad series is based on solid, modern, scientific learning strategies, avoiding some of the most common frustrations students encounter. Instead focus is on attitudes, achievements and recognition. Finger Olympiad trains and focuses on specific skills for developing complete musicianship. Because of the focus on musical fundamentals, this workbook can be used for either independent study, or in a teacher-student setting as a supplement to any other method.
Gold Complete is the third complete warm up book in the Finger Olympiad warm-up and recognition series and is meant to follow Silver. Gold Complete is more rigorously paced, and is best suited for adults or other students who are naturally comfortable with transposition. Most students would do best to use Gold 1 and Gold 2 instead of Gold Complete. Digital download includes a warm-up book, flash cards, and recognition certificate. As the name indicates, a Gold medal may be ordered to recognize the completion of this level.
PRINTING TIPS: This product works best with color, 2 sided printing. Pages 23-27 may be printed on cardstock for better durability.
