This is an upbeat version of the much loved carol and has been given an injection of jazz styled harmonies and rhythms. The verses are shared between the men and women and the chorus' are sung tutti in a swing feel. There is an uplifting piano solo in the middle in which the choir sing backing harmonies. The final verse is extremely rousing with a key shift and a jazzy descant. Choirs and audiences alike are all really enjoying this new twist on a beautiful carol!
