This short suite in three parts is inspired by the mythical Elves, as told by Tolkien in his masterpiece "The Lord of the Rings." The first part is a solemn march that accompanies the procession of King Elrond; in the second part an antique melody celebrates the female heroin Arwen, who doesn't hesitate to give up her immortality for her love of Aragorn, a hero belonging to the human race; the last part, accompanied by a fast jig, transports us t a party in the mythical country of the Elves, The Grand Canyon.
