Getaran Jiwa (Vibrations of the Soul) was a popular song from the Malaysian film Antara dua Darjat (Between two Castes), from the year 1960. The setting and structure of Getaran Jiwa play out the emotional tale of the Antara dua Darjat in four variations and a triumphant Finale. It remains an important work for Malaysia, because it was the first concert work written by a non-Malaysian composer on a Malaysian theme for the classical guitar.
Getaran Jiwa (Vibrations de l'âme) était une chanson populaire du film malaisien Antara dua Darjat (Entre deux castes), de 1960. La mise en musique et la structure de Getaran Jiwa mettent en scène l'histoire émotionnelle de l'Antara dua Darjat en quatre variations et un final triomphal. Elle reste une œuvre importante pour la Malaisie, car c'est la première œuvre de concert écrite par un compositeur non malaisien sur un thème malaisien pour la guitare classique.
