By Mark Lansom. By Serge Prokofiev. Arranged by Mark Lansom. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Instructional. 13 pages. Mark Lansom #938079. Published by Mark Lansom (A0.1353306).

A string orchestra arrangement of Prokofiev's famous Gavotte from the first symphony. The parts are differentiated so that, for example, third violin is much simpler than first or second, though still integral. There is plenty of divisi which can help spotlight key players. Though arranged for a school orchestra of widely differing amounts of experience, it would work well for a string orchestra of any age group, or across all ages. Score and parts included.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
