Fur Elise
The layout for this music is well presented. It is, as the editor says, a tuneful and exciting piece to play. It seems to me that there is something about it that makes it a work that is easy to memorize. It is good to know that all editorial suggestions are in light print to be distinguished clearly from the original indications of Beethoven.

This publication of Fur Elise is excellent: large, clear print, good quality paper, helpful fingering suggestions and attractive art work on cover. A gem!

a fine edition
For many people, this is a definitive piano work, rich with technical details woven into a fine musical statement, and I highly recommend this edition. I use it in my studio regularly... Alfred editions, in my experience, are accurate and scholarly, and reasonably priced. Students: be prepared to delve deeply into this music; it is not for impatient people. Definitely intermediate level.
