Here is a fun piece in the funk style for strings. It leaves room for improvisation but a suggested solo violin improvisation is included. Chord changes are listed in all parts at the improv section to allow other students to explore the technique of improvisation. drums are optional but will add to the true Funk flavor. Although most parts remain in first position, optional octave figures are included to challenge the first violin. A third violin/ substitute viola part is included to bolster the viola section.
