These are four attractive pieces in the Pensieroso manner, which is a legitimate genre in every style period. My particular take is a very idiosyncratic synthesis of some keyboard idioms taken from the Pop music of the 70's with some aspects of Late Baroque spiritual music. I have written many such cycles over the last few decades, and this particular one is intended for students. This music is also highly recommended also as background for meditation classes.
