This medley of folksong is equal parts Italian and Irish! The work begins the well-known Irish folksongs The Girl I Let Behind Me, No One Can Love Like an Irishman, The Galway Piper, and the unmistakable Irish Washerwoman. The arrangement then moves to a slow and reverent treatment of the Italian melody The Fair Maid of Sorrento, and closes with the rousing, exciting, and immensely popular Italian folksongs: Tarantella, and Funiculì, Funiculà.Duration: 7:00.
