FLASH! uses a jazz-tinged accompaniment and challenging rhythms to create a bravura piece based on scales and arpeggios that lay well under the fingers. Walfrid Kujala later commissioned a band version of the accompaniment, and Sarah Jackson then commissioned an orchestral accompaniment, all available from Presser.
