There are 3 pieces for each of the four seasons. the first piece in each season is at the mid to late elementary level, the second piece is at the early intermediate level and the third piece is at the intermediate level. Fishing in the Brook in 4/4 time, uses broken chords as well as a trill notated as 8th notes. Also use of pedal, octave leaps, staccato and accented notes. This is a great piece to use to introduce students to tonic chords and to teach transposition to other positions.
