This songbook is practical for last-minute acoustic guitar requests. The combo of tab, chords, and lyrics is great for quick sight-reading, and the chord symbols are accurate. While the arrangements are easy to intermediate, they're recognizable for most events. The softcover format means I'll likely need to use a stand, but it's a dependable collection for many standard pop/rock tunes.

While primarily a guitar book, this collection provides excellent chordal support for vocalists. The clear chord symbols and tablature allow for a supportive accompaniment texture without being overly complex, perfect for coaching singers on popular pop and rock numbers. It avoids doubling the vocal melody directly, allowing the singer's voice to shine. A good resource for accompanying various vocal ranges.

I absolutely love this book! As an adult learner, I found the 'easy to intermediate' difficulty perfect for just picking up my acoustic guitar and enjoying some classic pop and rock tunes. It's fantastic to learn songs like 'Stairway to Heaven' and 'Yellow' and actually feel like I'm sounding like the record. A truly enjoyable collection for relaxation and growth.

It was difficult for me to play some of the songs as the chords changed very quickly for me. I just play for fun.

I picked this up in a store after not having played guitar for a few years. I didn't realize how time consuming and annoying it was to get tab online, format it, print it, and then fix it. Flipping around in this book I found dozens of songs I liked and spent hours playing. I've buying music since and spending more time playing; in fact bought a better guitar. The other reviewer is correct, some songs have incomplete picking patterns, but all but a few have enough of the pattern to get the heart of the song. Lots of fun for beginners, not as interesting for more experienced players. On the other hand, it's nice to have a wide range of easy to spot-play songs around for family get togethers.
