PROGRAM NOTES "Fine Thread" was composed and recorded on August 18, 2018. The accompaniment track was created in a DAW with many real sampled sounds varying from prepared piano, dozens of gongs, cymbals, (bowed and un-bowed) and other small percussive instruments. "Fine Thread" represents at least one suggestion on how one might visualize this piece while listening. (And performing) I tried to convey the endangerment that our planet and humanity is (and will be) going through. I fear global warming might reach the tipping point where as the plant will be severely harmed.
