This Duetto is the last of a set of three duettos composed between 1774 and 1777 for oboe and bassoon. The movements, Allegro - segue Adagio, which end with a cadenza for both instruments, and Rondo are designed to show off the vuosity of the players and require players of advanced standard. This duetto is also suitable for flute and cello or bassoon.
