The contemporary Lithuanian composer Kazys Daugėla created Festive Rock in celebration of the 2003 Lithuanian national holiday. The premier took place at a concert with not one, but two concert bands being eluminated by the many colours of a concert closing firework display. This unforgettable event led to the piece’s popularity among concert bands. Now it can also become a part of your repertoire with or without fireworks!

Der zeitgenössische litauische Komponist Kazys Daugėla schrieb IFestive Rock für den litauischen Nationalfeiertag im Jahre 2003. Damals bildete das Konzert, das zwei Blasorchester bestritten, eine strahlende Untermalung des Feuerwerks am Ende der Festlichkeiten. Nach dieser fulminanten Uraufführung entwickelte sich die Komposition zu einem beliebten Blasorchesterwerk, das auch Ihr Repertoire bereichern wird!
