This festive arrangement of the Easter sequence, Victimae Paschali Laudes (Christians, to the Paschal Victim), is a great way to end the Easter service when a brass quartet and string quartet have been hired and need a festive piece to conclude. This piece also works as a short concert piece featuring works for the Easter season. The fantasy alternates between expressive string writing and festive brass fanfares.
