"Facilita" is a staple of the solo cornet repertoire. Â It is written in the late 19th/early 20th century style of technically demanding cornet solos popularized by Herbert L. Clarke. Â This piece, originally for cornet and piano, was arranged for cornet (or trumpet) and chamber orchestra. Â This version was done at the request of my friend, the late Frank Kaderabek (Philadelphia Orchestra, Detroit Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Chicago Symphony).
