SATB choir, voice solo, keyboard accompaniment, guitar, C instrument - Beginning

SKU: GI.G-8515

Composed by Daniel Kantor. Celebration Series. Sacred. Octavo. With guitar chord names. 12 pages. GIA Publications #8515. Published by GIA Publications (GI.G-8515).

UPC: 785147851509. English. Text by Adam M. L. Tice.

As if to reflect our differences, the voicing in this appeal for tolerance builds from unison (or optional solo voice) at the start to full SATB choir in verses 3 and 4. A key change in the fourth verse, and the addition of an optional descant for C instrument coupled with the final line (“seeing gifts in all is not wishful thinking, but a holy call”) brings the piece to a compelling conclusion. A gentle and unobtrusive piano accompaniment supports the beauty of the text throughout. The C Instrument part is optional.
