Mark Barnard has intelligently and subtly arranged this beloved Elgar work for intermediate full orchestra. While keeping true to the essence of the original score, there are many notational and part edits that make this Nimrod readable and playable. For the strings, some difficult divisi passages have been simplified, and fingerings and bowings have been notated. Some doubling has been added to the wind parts to give the young orchestra a fuller sound. This arrangement is a must have for any middle or high school orchestra director.
