This original work is a reflective expression of emotion. It is written in c minor and begins in simple fashion but gains in texture and dynamics to a climactic point and dies away to a whispered ending. The use of bells and chimes combined is tonally beautiful. Many ringing techniques add up to a piece that is also fascinating to perform. It is 95 measures in length.
