Another beautiful Catalan folk song (a Christmas tune - the "Mother" is, of course, Mary, mother of Christ), well-known to guitarists in Miguel Llobet's solo guitar arrangement from his "16 Folksong Settings". The arranger, Francesc Alió, not only collected and arranged Catalan folk songs, in 1892, he composed the Catalan national anthem, "Els Segadors", based on a folk tune from his collection, "Canciones populars catalones".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
